"Aniki,"Mori no Yōsei" ("Forest Fairy"), "Shinnippori" etc. on Nico Nico Douga, appeared on a "watch out for fire" poster at Sugitsuma office of Fukushima Fire Department, Fukushima Prefecture. According to the report, the poster was illustrated by a Mr. Manabu Hirata (25 years old), who has been providing illustrations for the fire department since 2008, and this is his 4th contribution. Assistant Chief Kazuya Shishido (top picture, left) thanked Mr. Hirata for his efforts in fire prevention."Sunny male," "powerful illustrations," my, I don't think it could extinguish fire; instead it would burn more intensely.
Top-Insight International has also announced its official web page of events and merchandises during Comic Exhibition Taipei 2009. However, the index page seems to be incomplete, yet "hot merchandise" and "seiyū bundle pre-order" have been completed.(Man this is a bloody long page……)According to this list of merchandises, in addition to D.Gray Man, Gundam 00, and NANA (all Top-Insight's flagships), Junjō Romantica and To Love-Ru have been listed as well. Looks like they've licensed those two fan-servicy titles (for girls and boys, respectively).
Riichirō Inagaki (center) and Yūsuke Murata (2nd from right), creators of Eyeshield 21, were invited to attend the 10th Comic Exhibition at Taipei on August 15 and give an autograph session.
