Togainu no Chi @ Shulin ruin

"Shulin ruin," formerly the Shulin maintenance yard of Kuo-Kuang Motor Transportation (state-owned long haul bus service), is a popular spot for photographers and Airsoft military simulators. Took a series of photos with two cosplayers and another photographer yesterday, which was also my first visit to the huge 10-hectares ruin.

Top-Insight International has also announced its official web page of events and merchandises during Comic Exhibition Taipei 2009. However, the index page seems to be incomplete, yet " hot merchandise " and " seiyū bundle pre-order " have been completed. (Man this is a bloody long page……) According to this list of merchandises, in addition to D.Gray Man , Gundam 00 , and NANA (all Top-Insight's flagships), Junjō Romantica and To Love-Ru have been listed as well. Looks like they've licensed those two fan-servicy titles (for girls and boys, respectively).

續 前篇 與 噗浪原始討論串 ： Part 1: DOS 與 Windows 3.1 環境 之前談到顯示卡對 DOS 與 Windows 3.1 的支援。舉個例子：我手上有張 AGP 的 GeForce 7600 GS 連 Win98 都不支援，就別期望它能用在更老的環境底下了，加上純 DOS / Win3.1 環境下也極少會用到高階的 3D 加速功能，所以可以把範圍先縮小到 PCI 界面的顯示卡，再從中找出最合適的型號及與它對應的主機板、CPU、音效卡等等。 這個討論串集中了許多適合在 DOS / Win3.1 環境下使用的顯示卡： Best video cards with DOS / Win 3.x / Win 9x support 如果暫不考量屬於附加 3D 加速卡的 Voodoo / Voodoo2，這樣篩選就只剩下 3dfx: Voodoo Banshee, Voodoo3 ATI: Rage XL, Rage 128 Matrox: G200, G400 nVidia: Riva 128, TNT, TNT2 S3: Trio, ViRGE, Savage4 Pro 當然 Voodoo / Voodoo2 也可以搭配上面非 3dfx 的顯示卡來作為附加卡來使用。 支援 Glide 的 Voodoo3 當然是最上之選（在它之後的 Voodoo4/5 不再支援 Win3.1），價格也還可接受，但台灣難找，不過透過 eBay 的選擇就多很多；Banshee 在台灣就好找得多，價格也便宜，2D 表現普通但至少也支援 Glide。不過 3dfx 要到 Voodoo4 之後才支援 32-bit 色盤，所以前述兩款都只支援 16-bit，對於快節奏的遊戲影響不大，但仔細看還是可以看得出差別。 ATI 與 nVidia 的評價跟今天的這兩家差不多，2D 與 3D 表現都OK且平衡，二手也不算難找，不過這段時期的 nVidia 評價普遍來說比 ATI 要好些。 Matrox G200/G400 號稱是 2D 王者，但台灣罕見，好處是外國還不算少，而且 原廠把不同型號在古早作業系統下的支援與相對應的驅動程式整理成很清楚明瞭的表格 ，算是很佛心的公司。 在進入 Win95 時期後不久，S3 由於率先推出整合繪圖核心、隨機存取記憶

Guests of honor of TIBE 2010, first round

GNN , Central Daily , and Mighty Media's own official website have all announced the first round of guests of honors of Comic and Animation Hall, Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE) 2010 yesterday afternoon. Four names have been announced: Range Murata (conceptual character designer of Last Exile ), Miho Obana (mangaka of Kodocha ), Rie Kugimiya (Shana of Shakugan no Shana ), and Junko Takeuchi (Naruto Uzumaki of Naruto ). Details of autograph eligibility can be read by clicking respective links. Mighty always play big at TIBE (as opposed to Comic Exhibitions in summers); they indeed invest a lot on three guests of honor, all are key figures of their most popular titles, notably merchandise of Shakugan no Shana (life-size pillows in particular). Patients of Kugimiya syndrome are already "burning" right now.
